Celebrating over 85 years of Architectural services, Potter Architects is a medium-size firm, consisting of four licensed Architects and a skilled technical staff. We are a third generation architect firm, serving both the public and private sectors since 1932. Our founder, Stephen J. Potter, AIA, worked as an apprentice for the master school architect of Union County, Mr. Fred Elsasser, for ten years prior to starting his own firm. After starting his own firm, Stephen went on to design numerous public buildings for the Township of Union, including the Municipal Building, all of the libraries and fire houses, as well as the police station.
Potter Architects is a full range architectural firm, providing Planning, Engineering, Architectural, and Interior Design services including design, programming, planning, sustainability and LEED certification, and construction administration for both public and the private sectors, such as educational, mixed-use/multi-family residential, municipal/government, healthcare, and commercial. Our staff is a tight-knit group of experienced professionals dedicated to working together to ensure the best results for our clients.
Potter Architects ever-expanding list of clients includes a diversity of entities, ranging from public school boards to medical facilities to large corporations. Although the client list may resemble that of a larger firm, our tightly run organization is capable of servicing substantial clients while maintaining the personal service found in the small architects office.
At Potter Architects, we work closely with the client to ensure that we meet their architectural needs by providing a space/structure that is functional and pleasing, all while meeting with their program requirements, budget, and time constraints.
Potter Architects not only prides itself on designing great architecture but also helping our clients meet their architectural, program and financial requirements.
